Elephant SafariDay 1:07:00 Hrs – pick up from your hotel and drive to Amboseli. Arrive in time for lunch at the Oltukai Lodge. Afternoon game drive at Amboseli National Park. Dinner and overnight at the Oltukai Lodge. Day 2: 06:30 hrs - early morning game drive in the Amboseli National Park. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning at leisure. After lunch at the lodge, proceed at 16:00 hrs for an afternoon game drive till dusk. Amboseli sits on the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro - Africa’s highest - whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in an early morning. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. You will also see buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and other plain animals. Dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge. Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel and thereafter depart for Tsavo West National park and to your destination Kilaguni Serena in time for lunch. Tsavo West has spectacular scenery with a rolling volcanic landscape carpeted in long grass and dense bush. Although the tall vegetation makes game spotting trickier than in some of the other parks, the big five are in residence along with a fine collection of antelope. The main attraction of the park are the two watering holes, where lodges have been built which more or less guarantee that their guests will be treated to fabulous game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena lodge. Day 4: At 06:00hrs, proceed for a morning game drive. Breakfast at the lodge and thereafter proceed to Mombasa arriving in time for lunch at Sun n sand beach resort. (Accommodation at Club Sun n sand is based on half board basis). Days 5 - 7: Full day spent in Mombasa enjoying the sandy beaches. Accommodation at Club sun n sand is based on half board basis. Day 8: Breakfast at the hotel and thereafter transfer to the airport (depending on your departure flight) to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, connect to your home bound flight. Notes: Airfare is not included in the tour price.
